Hey guys! I found some great videos from Le Sphinx from June 28th, 2008. The sound quality isn't the greatest, but it's cool to see parts from the entire set! (And sorry for the weird camera clicks during the vid. I guess the guy didn't realize it freezes the video) [Basshunter comes onstage at 3.16]
INTRO + PLEASE DON'T GO + DOTA + BOTEN ANNA
CAMILLA + WALK ON WATER + ALL I EVER WANTED + NOW YOU'RE GONE
[my side note, I am BEYOND happy that he's playing DotA still!!! It's the song that originally got me hooked so I'm hoping that once the US tour dates are confirmed, CONFIRM THE DATES PLEASE!!! THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN TWO WEEKS! OTHERWISE I'M DRIVING THE 10 HOURS TO CANADA!, and I REALLY hope he plays it here!]
Ah! Am so jealous of Sam for having been able to go to the secret show in London! Here's a terrific video of "All I Ever Wanted" live from the secret gig!
Whew the performance is finally online. But I'm a little upset with it to be honest. I don't understand why Channel 4 thought they should add that weird looking woman dancing over and over again, and what's with the two guys doing it too? Why show clear close ups of them but shoot the entire performance in red which NEVER photographs or films well?
AND, the one thing I find more pathetic than anything else is The Mystery Jets critique of their set. If anyone knows who they are, they're a typical English wanna-be indie band that is just another Jet/Deathcab for Cutie/every other "melodic" rock band. They need to lay off the drugs and maybe critique their own music.
It wasn't the best performance Jonas has had, but it sounds nothing like ten years ago nor Vengabus. Sorry, I could keeeeep on going about that half rate band, but I need to just stop here. I just don't tolerate ignorance very well.
Berit I love you! These videos are honestly the best live videos I have ever seen!!!!! Berit (the amazing lady behind First Basshunter Support took these!)
ALL I EVER WANTED
CAMILLA
I think I died a little on the inside since it's still months til Jonas comes to the states! Haha. On behalf of everyone, thank you Berit!
I think I just about near had a heart attack! Basshunter has put my favorite song, Halla Dar, back in his setlist. Here's a great live video from Feldkirchen, Austria. Part of Halla Dar and part of Please Don't Go.
HALLA DAR + PLEASE DON'T GO
The wonderful and amazing Berit from First Basshunter Support is on her way home from there and will be sharing terrific photos and videos from the event with everyone! Will update when she is home!
Ok, so I have a thing for his songs in Swedish. Granted I speak the most horrid broken Swedish known to man (sorry!). But Halla Dar is also one of my favorite tracks from LOL.
So here's a great quality short clip of it from 11.15.2006 in Iceland!
Ok, so I'll start off by saying the sound quality is pretty bad, but I love these because you see Jonas' stage act! (And you can also see how he has tweaked the songs a bit!) Kinda wish the dancing girls had a bit more of a routine, but it's great and the crowd is really into it! I really like how "Now You're Gone" has changed. Definitely has a more "Basshunter" feel to it. God I prefer his vocals so much!
Here are a few videos from Basshunter's Delta Musikpark gig April 19th in Duisburg, Germany. I'm bummed with the total lack of crowd enthusiasm/participation. There are five different parts so you need to open the whole post. By the way, these were taken on a camera phone and are terrific quality considering that! [open for video]
Here's a great video of DotA live from Club Queen-Mos-Vigo in Pontevedra, Spain from April 5th, 2008. [the sound quality isn't the best, but it's a fun video to watch!]
